Blade Show 2018. CRKT Knives.

DU HOC™, GUNGHO™, KNIFE MAINTENANCE TOOL - новинки от CRKT Knives для Blade Show 2018.
В релизе стоит уже год 2019-ый, да..

New CRKT® Forged By War® knife pays homage to a hero’s legacy.
Half a century after he served, designer and veteran Austin McGlaun discovered his uncle won the Silver Star at Point Du Hoc. “He was such a quiet professional,” McGlaun explains, “I never knew anything about his war service until our local paper did a story about him when he turned 80.” To honor his uncle, McGlaun designed this colossal karambit fixed blade knife. With the help of Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical, it’s been perfected as a mission-inspired eye catcher from the tip of the recurved blade to the thumb ring at the end of the handle.

As a part of the Forged By War® program, McGlaun’s design, matched with Ryan’s expertise, makes the Du Hoc™ a powerful tactical carry. An ominous 5” carbon steel recurved blade—sharp on the nose and the belly—is a dependable companion in a self-defense situation. A thumb ring sits proudly atop the textured G10 handle for an unbreakable traditional karambit-style grip.
With an intentionally-designed knife comes a secure, customizable sheath. Crafted of tough glass-reinforced nylon, the ease of access and safety of draw is unmatched.
With a history like this one, the Du Hoc™ was practically born on the front line.
The Du Hoc™ knife manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $135.00

New CRKT® knife calls to the motivated doer with an eye for aesthetic.
Designer Tom Krein exercised his mastery of design in the new Gungho™. Strikingly simple, this everyday carry folding knife features an all-over dark black look that carries easily and is right at home in the garage.
Krein has given the Gungho™ an unassuming 2.7” tanto-style blade finished in black oxide and balanced it with an equally dark-and-mysterious handle to form the sturdy bones of this daily workhorse. While the top is textured G10 for excellent grip, the opposing side is stainless steel that gives it visual intrigue and slips in and out of a pocket with ease.
A thumb stud deploys the blade at incredible speed with the assistance of OutBurst® technology. Once open, it’s held fast by a frame lock, and when it’s returned to the closed position, the powerful OutBurst® spring holds it securely in place.
Over the years, Krein has built a serious reputation for himself as a master of his craft. Now, with the release of the Gungho™, he has a definitive cornerstone in his legacy. When asked about inspiration for the design, Krien says, “I draw strong influences from early custom knifemakers and find beauty in the clean lines of Art Deco and the arts and crafts movement.”
An elemental design meets universal potential in the Gungho™.

How OutBurst® Assisted Opening Works
Manually open the blade up to 30 degrees and the patented OutBurst® assisted opening mechanism springs the knife fully open so that you’re good to go. The powerful spring also holds the blade securely closed when not in use.
The Gungho™ manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $59.99

New CRKT® pocket sharpener takes knife maintenance beyond the garage.
In collaboration with mechanical engineer and knife designer, Tom Stokes, CRKT® is proud to release the nearly-universal Knife Maintenance Tool. Compact, highly effective, and compatible with almost every folding blade on the market, it’s equipped with two sharpeners and two sizes of TORX for high utility in the field.
Tom Stokes dreamt up the jam-packed Knife Maintenance Tool and brought it to life using CAD software in his Williamsburg, Virginia hometown. Small enough to fit on a keychain, it has a ceramic honing edge and a compact tungsten carbide sharpener. Two folding TORX tools (T8 and T6) can remedy loose pivot nuts, pocket clip screws, and back spacer screws. A covert flathead screwdriver and a bottle opener come in handy when prying open food containers and cracking open a cold one at the end of the day.
Of his design, Stokes reminisces, “the inspiration came from wanting the ability to field sharpen, adjust a pivot screw, or tighten a loose pocket clip on a typical folding knife anytime, anywhere.”
So lightweight you’ll hardly know you’re carrying it. Until you need it.

The Knife Maintenance Tool manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $29.99
