Works hard in the shop, just like you.
The NEW Snap-on® exclusive RAVE® XL knife, designed by Ken Onion of Kaneohe, HI, is an everyday carry blade that doesn’t like to sit around on the shelf—it wants to see some action.
As rugged as the mechanics who use it, this overbuilt pocket knife features a modified drop point blade that’s built from stainless steel. It’s tough enough to cut hose but still precise enough to strip wiring. Meanwhile a black corrosion resistant coating keeps the blade intact no matter what you put it through in the shop.
When you’re ready to put the RAVE® XL knife into action, a liner locks up the blade securely. Then, when it’s time to call it a day, simply use your thumb to move the locking liner over to close the blade.
Grab hold of this beast of a knife and you’ll find it won’t slip out of your hand. The handle is made out of tough, glass-reinforced polypropylene and features a TPR textured insert that gives you superior holding power. On the durability scale this knife has been cranked up to 11.
For years, the award-winning Ken Onion has designed folders that have won awards. With the new RAVE® XL he wanted to build one that could get the job done and then some. After all, he’s the real deal, spending as much time in the shop crafting knives as he does using them.
If you’re looking for an everyday carry knife that conveys Snap-on® quality, keep an eye out for the RAVE® XL in your Franchisee’s truck. It won’t be staying in there for long.
