Shot Show 2018. CRKT.

https://grebenschikova.livejournal.com/tag/crkt

Dew Hara."

Jesper Voxnaes.
CRKT Hvas.

New outdoor-specific everyday carry built with Field Strip technology.
The newest CRKT® collaboration with Scandinavian designer, Jesper Voxnaes is ready to take on just about every last backcountry task. The HVAS™ everyday carry folding knife was designed to be the centerpiece of a light-packing outdoorsman’s gear and it’s simple utility stands up to the challenge.

The 3.3” drop point blade is perfected with a clean satin finish to balance out the glass-reinforced nylon injection-molded handles. Unflinching in the face of inclement weather, the burly handle endures with a solid grip. If mud and grime do breach the system, the HVAS™ is equipped with Field Strip technology so taking the knife apart in the field is simple and requires no additional tools.

When asked about the inspiration behind the name HVAS™ (pronounced simply vas), he explains that it harkens to the knife’s Old Norse roots, translating to “sharp” in the ancient language. When it comes to the reason why he decided to create it, though, Voxnaes’ answer is as straightforward and poignant as his design. “It was designed to be the perfect companion for those who seek a simpler way of living.”

From the highest peaks to the rowdiest river canyons, the HVAS™ is raring to go.

How Field Strip Works
Field Strip Technology lets you easily disassemble your knife for cleaning without tools. To disassemble, close the knife, push the front release lever up. Then spin the rear release wheel clockwise —once you feel the handle release, pull it up and away. Handles and blade come apart easily. To bring the knife back together, place the blade and handles into the closed position - press and hold the pivot. Once the pivot is seated correctly, rotate the release wheel counter-clockwise until snug. Push front lever down. The knife is restored to full working order.

Ken Onion - Goken
Revered martial artist, tactical knife designer adds new elegant folder to lineup.

Goken

Together with James Williams, an expert in self defense tactics, CRKT®is releasing the Gōken™ tactical folding knife.
For ultimate utility and functionality, he designed it around Ken Onion’s new Field Strip technology so it can come fully apart in the field for maintenance and cleaning without tools.

The Gōken™ is aptly named—the Japanese wordis reserved for only those that embody fortitude.
The 3.7” modified Tanto blade is finished with a deep black powder coat.

This powerful workhorse is deployed from its tough G10 handles with an inconspicuous flipper and held fast with a locking liner amidany dirty job it may confront.
As is mentioned above, Williams was inspired by the practicality and capability of Field Strip technology during the design process.

His logic: what’s an everyday carry that doubles as a self-defense tool that can keep up inthe face of grimy adversity? When it comes to the inspiration behind the new, sleek tactical Gōken™, Williams draws from the well that inspired his last two big hitters.

“The Gōken™ follows the legacy of the Hissatsu™ and the Otanashi Noh Ken™ in the Samurai tradition of elegant and effective weapons.”Because a samurai sword won’t fit in your pocket, the Gōken™ will stand in its place.

New multi-tool designed with automotive technicians in mind.

CRKT® is proud to release the Technician™, a new multi-tool designed by Glenn Klecker. He set out to channel his renowned multi-tool design prowess into a utility-packed automotive technician’s daily doer. In short: he achieved just that.
The Technician™ is built for the discerning. It’s among the first multi-tools to feature a telescoping magnetic pick-up device. But that’s only scratching the surface. When open, the needle-nose pliers are backed up by grippers, wire cutters, and a wire stripper all built in corrosion-resistant stainless steel.

Close the tough G10 handles around itself, and you’ll gain quick access to the rest of the tools. On one side, the powerful magnetic pick-up device nests in with both a fine and rough file that also features a bottle opener and a strap cutter. A standard feeler gauge sits in snugly. Flip it around, and a no-frills slip-joint knife blade becomes accessible with a thumb stud along with a standard ¼” bit driver and a gasket scraper. To top it all off, the entire tool fits inside a tough nylon case with multiple carry options.

When asked about specific applications for the Technician™, Klecker responds, “This tool was packed full of utility for the shade-tree mechanic so that he doesn’t have to get out from under his car to go grab another tool.”
From the curious to the passionate, to the professional, the Technician™ fits the bill.
The Technician™ multi-tool manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $89.99
